Not long a go my uncle moved to Hawkes Bay to live at my poppers house. He came to our  house and took my brother out to have  an ice-cream and to parks. I was not allowed  to go. I  thought  that  he’d never  take me out. They  went to a garage sale. All my  brother wanted was a  cutlery tray with  spoons and forks my uncle laughed. I felt happy.

In inquiry  W.A.L.A yeast used in breadmaking. we looked at some of the different  breads. 

We tasted some different breads.

we grew some yeast and worked out what the yeast needed to 

grow and

 make the bread rise.

I think the warm water is going to work best because it has most air in it right now.

Maths Hive

WALT (we have been learning to): be independent learners who decide what learning tools we will use each day in Maths

In the Maths Hive we are allowed to pick an activity to work on each day (sometimes two). Miss Northe has chosen the activities - to best help us with our maths learning.  

We have to put our buttons on the wall to show what we are working on and then take a screenshot and add it to a Pic Collage, to show evidence of our learning. We can chose - but we have to do a new activity each day: Sumdog, e-ako, New Zealand Money App, Child Friendly Cards and Miss Northe makes us work with her on a collaborative task too during the week.
